The digitisation of today’s society moves on at full speed and puts increasing demands on people regarding their digital skills. If people cannot keep up with this trend there is a greater chance of social isolation and social exclusion, especially for those who are already in a socio-economic disposition. People do need digital knowledge and they do need to connect with their local community. In this, the project Computerwijk meets a need.
Computerwijk makes it possible for neighbours to click. By increasing the digital knowledge of local residents by local residents, we stimulate self-confidence and the chance at personal growth, education and employment for the people in a socio-economic disposition.
